This tumblr is officially going on the gov’t dole.
The news here is that I got fired on Wednesday. Saw it coming. The job was a horrible fit. I was miserable, they weren’t happy, ergo mutual decision for me to exit. Well sorta mutual…I was going to wait till I got a new job. They had different ideas. Those ideas included pressing me hard for a week and a half and getting 3 more catalogs out of me and having me on press for 12 hours the day before the canned me. Honestly I can’t say they didn’t handle the entire situation exactly like they handle everything else….selfishly, classlessly and generally without regard to the wellbeing of anyone (me) involved.
So now I will be updating more regularly in the new found inanity of unemployed life. Look forward to such posts as “NJ Unemployment Office can suck my balls” and “17 things you can do on a Tueday afternoon to kill time while waiting for your unemployment check to clear.”
